A change for the yard

Apr 14

Outdoor projects started last weekend. We took out the fence between our yard and the neighbors. We put it on Craigslist and a guy from York came and picked it up the next day, much to the chagrin of the other 11 people who called wanting to buy it. Who knew there was such a booming market for used fence sections?

This weekend, we’ll get to the planting.

First section comes down

Everything but the posts

Free space

Other changes in store: moving the bed upstairs, the TV downstairs and some more painting.

For those keeping track, this will be the second new color in the kitchen and third new color for the dining room. This time, we’re going with “Golden Fleece” which hopefully turns out a little less “holy crap yellow” than our last attempt.

I have spoken to Stephanie regarding your kitchen. You will get a better at painting, third
time is always a charm. The ceiling will give you a continuity to the rooms and FLOW smoothly together.
I would like to tell you to try and finish one area before you get to far passed completion and starting another area and getting frustrated that you are running in circles. The dining room will be easy and a must for the holiday family times. Stephanie find some nice black and white items for the kitchen to tie the large tiles together. Plus your Mothers wonderful curtains with trim will be wonderful. Add pomagranets in a large glass bowl with limes and green sprigs. Try Pottery Barn. Again, your a welcome to give me a call anytime.
