Analysis
After one of the better NCAA championship games of all time, Tim P. pulls out a five-point win over Quentin. For the second consecutive season, the winner takes home the prize by the margin of a single first-round game. Tim's winning score of 680 points would have placed third in last year's pool.
This year's field was a lot stronger than in years past. Seven people broke the 600-point barrier in this tournament, a feat that had only been accomplished four other times in the previous three years of pool action.

Thanks for playing, everyone. The online entries seemed to go smoothly and saved me quite a bit of time this season, so we'll probably bring that back, and we'll be exploring some other new features to add for the next go-round. See you all next year!
Welcome
Bienvenidos! You've have arrived at the official home of The Official 436 Bracket Challenge.
Made possible through an unexpected donation of university grants and funding from viewers like you, the Bracket Challenge was established early in 2005 in hopes of bringing the pomp and pageantry of the NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament right into our home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Through the tireless work of our dedicated staff we have established a pool that not only embodies all that is great about gambling on amateur athletics, but also adds a new level of accessibility to the tradition by providing a welcoming forum in which you can enjoy the games as much as we do.
We sincerely hope this year's tournament experience is a pleasant one for you and your friends and will strive to consider your requests for making next year's pool even better.
Happy Bracketing!
